Oh, How We Love the Pantone Color of the Year for 2019: Living Coral

Bling & Satin, Layered ProgramsWe were so excited to see Pantone’s Color of the Year announcement for 2019: Living Coral. Pantone describes Living Coral as "An animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.”

Coral is often paired with turquoise, which makes for a (maybe overly-) eye-catching color palette. For our Living Coral spring color collection this year, we decided to dodge that route and instead, put it with Dark Purple, Papaya Punch, and an ivory. Papaya Punch is Living Coral’s lighter, milder, little sister, and Dark Purple grounds the tones while keeping harmony.
